Great Stay

This condo is adorable! It has absolutely everything you will need during your stay, except of course your own personal items. It was very clean!!!The view of the beach and gulf is fabulous!! We saw dolphins swimming on more than one occasion. Security makes you feel very safe. The beach is so family friendly. We watched families crab hunt with flashlights nightly. This condo is very close to great restaurants. We loved Mikee’s and The Shrimp Basket. There is also The Hangout and a restaurant called The Catch. Just go kinda early to avoid waits. There are also grills out by the pool area to grill your own.The only thing I will mention, not as a complaint but a concern, the front left stovetop burner was turned on by accident twice by bumping up against the knob. Fortunately we caught it both times but it did make us pay close attention. Only letting you know to avoid accidents. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!! We definitely recommend this condo to anyone looking for a great vaca!!

This condo was one of the cleanest we've ever stayed in, and the walk to the beach was, by far, the easiest and shortest! The beach had a huge sandbar form while we were there which made it even more perfect! I really liked the pool because of how easy it was to get in and out of, and because it was big enough that it never felt crowded. The condo had everything we needed to make our stay stress-free, but several restaurants and shopping venues were only minutes away should you need them. The mattress in the primary bedroom was firm but quite comfortable. The sofa and recliners in the living room were very comfortable, also. And our teen girls said that the sofa bed slept better than any sofa bed they've ever slept on! The check-in process was simple and efficient, and there were plenty of carts on-hand to make move-in/move-out a breeze. We highly recommend this condo to anyone looking to have a relaxing Gulf Shores vacation! 10/10

Condo was clean, all accommodations readily accessible, beds were very comfortable. Condo is centrally located within 10-20 min of restaurants and shopping. Beach view from the balcony was excellent. Communication regarding rental and any needs was exceptional. 5 star rating and would definitely recommend.

Had a wonderful stay and Beach Getaways was very helpful with any questions I had. They responded quickly and were very friendly and kind. I was impressed with the customer service. The condo was in excellent condition and very clean. The refrigerator is very noisy though, so you may want to let the owners know. We did not have any food in it, maybe that was the reason.

Had a great stay at a great location just a few steps out on to the beautiful beach. Condo was clean and comfortable and decorated nicely. the Beach Getaways staff are quick to respond to any needs you might have whether it be providing info on other possible locations or supplying household items you might require. With each day that passed we enjoyed our stay that much more. We have booked again for next year.

All in all the unit was very nice. The air conditioner went out twice, however, maintenance showed up right away to fix the short. I would suggest putting grab bars and the showers. I had my elderly mother with me and it we had to be very cautious when she took a shower due to no grab bars.

This is a fantastic place to stay! Beautiful ocean front view and a quick walk to the beach. The condo was very clean. The decor was welcoming and beautiful,not dated. We had a small electrical issue and maintenance was quick to respond & remedy the problem. Communication with Beach Getaways was friendly and professional .There were plenty of kitchen utensils, dinnerware as well as a Keurig, regular coffee pot, Bring your own essentials for meal prep. We will rent this place again.

This was a great place with plenty of space for my family of four. It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. All the appliances worked well and the patio furniture was very sturdy. The beds were comfortable and that includes the fold out coach. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Great Condo, great view and location

Condo was clean and had new furnishings. The view couldn't have been better as it's directly on the ocean. We spent a lot of time relaxing and eating on the balcony enjoying the view. The pool was nice and wasn't overcrowded. There was constant security on the property and the grounds were well maintained. The location is great too as it's only about a mile from the main restaurant and shopping area. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was so clean and the decorations were so cute! I loved the Be Our Guest pillow. Both beds were very comfortable. The patio furniture was comfortable and I liked that the chairs were high enough to see over the railing. It rained a few days and we just sat on the patio and hung out. There is a tablet in the room to check in but I couldn't get it to work. We usesd the stove and it worked great was very clean. The dryer was a life saver since it rained all day at the concert we went to and our clothes were very wet. We were not sure if we needed to clean the towels so we put them in the washer before we left and when we opened the door a terrible smell came out. There was a wet wash cloth in there that looked like it was accidentally forgot for awhile. Thankfully we didnt open the door till it was time to leave so no harm done and we started the washer to get the smell gone for the next people. We loved everything about this place. Even the guy at the guard station was extremely friendly. The pool was very clean and was surprisingly deep which was nice. There is a grocery/party store within walking distance. We loved it so much we are already trying to figure out when we can come back.

This was a beautiful condo, looks like it has been remodeled from what the original pictures looked like. Really enjoyed how close it was to the beach. Our only complaint about our trip besides it not being long enough was the seaweed on the beach which had nothing to do with the condo, would definitely rent it again.

We enjoyed our vacation so much! The condo was absolutely perfect for us and our vacation guests. We each had a private bath and each a king size bed, which was wonderful. The beds were so comfortable. The condo living room furnishings were comfortable as well. The kitchen was nicely equipped with most of things we needed. The condo was clean and had the easiest access right off the elevator. The balcony was perfectly furnished and we had a beautiful beach front view.

This condo was perfect!! Just what I was wanting for our 25th anniversary. Great location, beautiful ocean view, easy access to the beach, and wonderful accommodations! You could tell the furniture had been recently updated. The beds were very comfortable. One afternoon we went to leave and the battery died in the lock to the front door but we called and they came and fixed it right away! We loved having coffee and breakfast on the balcony every morning just watching the ocean! The pool was great also! I would highly recommend this to anyone! We will definitely be booking thru this group again!! And the price was reasonable!! No complaints here!

Staying here was great! We enjoyed the view every morning and really enjoyed the 5 minute walk to the beach every day! We had a wonderful time and found the location to be perfect considering all the traffic. Highly recommend!

The condo was great, just a short distance to the beach and the unit is located just off the elevator. Unit did have hair dryers which were not mentioned in the amenities list and the frig has an ice maker. Good size balcony compared to others we have stayed at, would rent again.

We came to Gulf Shores to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. The week we were there was great. The condo is right in the beach. It is beautifully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. There was a lot of amenities close by and within easy walking distance. We will definitely be back!

The Condo was very nice! We enjoyed our trip very much. The only issue I had was when renting umbrella and chairs. I was told the daily rate was $40/day or 2 days for $70. Which I did pay but I felt like it was an absurd amount of money. I have never had to pay a price that high before. Other than that we had a wonderful trip. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ocean House 1. The condo was absolutely perfect for us. Each couple had our own private bath and king size bed! The unit was very clean and well furnished. The location was great and the beach views were beautiful!! Access to the beach was quick and easy which was great for my husband. The pool was closed for repairs but we were made aware of this in advance so it was completely understandable. Overall our stay was wonderful and we look forward to staying again soon.
