Very clean, had the necessary beach stuff and beautiful views. The location was great since we flew in for a short getaway, we were able to forego a rental car and walked to anything we needed with ease. There is even a well stocked dollar general for grocery items and extra beach stuff. Also loved how they included extra blankets and cooking essentials…even a crockpot! Perfect for a chill weekend.

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed in this condo and we plan on returning next year. It is a very nice condo. You are ocean front with a great view. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony. They home is furnished well and the modern beach decor is lovely.

My family had a blast! This property is on the 4th floor (breath taking views) with the beach and pool right outside the back door. Everything is a short walk away from dining to shopping to parasailing! We will 100% return and absolutely recommend. We booked a last minute trip for July 4th. We had a great time. The condo location is a short walking distance to both the Catch and The Hangout. It is also very close to Alvin's Island souvenir shop and several ice cream and coffee shops as well. The condo facility is smaller than some of the others. This may be important when looking at how crowded the beach may be or wait times for an elevator. Our room was clean and well kept. Coffee machine available with k-cups and coffee grounds provided. The room also provided a few beach chairs and an umbrella. We rented beach chairs and an umbrella from Ike's Rentals which was also convenient. It was a great place to stay, would highly recommend.

Island Winds East #407 is not your ordinary beach condo. This unit has outstanding upgrades with ceiling beams, tiled showers, built in window seating in the master bedroom, and many other upgrades. This unit also faces the beach at the perfect height to see up and down the beach. Can't wait for our next getaway. Great communication prior to and during the arrival in regards to check in as well as them checking on how the stay was going.

We loved this condo, right off the bat it was nice we did not have to wait until 4:00PM to gain access, it was ready by 3:00. This gave us plenty of time to unload, unpack and get to the grocery store. The condo was clean, provided all we needed and was a home away from home. The location was fantastic to walk to area stores, restaurants and ice cream. Loved being able to get to the beach quickly, it was quiet and family friendly. Having the key code on the door was also very nice vs having to worry about a key card. We would definitely stay in this unit again in a heartbeat.

The location has great beach and pool access and very near to favorite restaurant spots. It did not disappoint!

We absolutely loved this condo! The process of obtaining the unit and the communication were flawless. Everything was as it said it would be. The location is awesome! We loved that it was within walking distance to places such as the Hangout and several other places to grab food and drinks. The pool was great! Clean! Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Now to the Condo itself. It was beautiful! I LOVED how it was decorated! It was stocked with all the essentials and very clean! I really appreciated that they had beach chairs, an umbrella, a cooler and some sand toys! We have been coming to Gulf Shores for close to 20 years and not many owners have those things for you use. We would definitely rent this unit again!

Choose this place as the decor was so beachy and the view was great. We loved it. The pool was exceptionally clean. Workers were very friendly. A couple of the beach chairs and umbrellas were in rough shape. It's a nice bonus to supply, but you can rent them right on the beach if you want. We walked across the street to a great deli for sandwiches for lunch. Even saw a few dolphins from our balcony.

We have been coming to Gulf Shores over Labor Day weekend for over a decade. We have stayed at Island Winds for 5 of those years now, because we love the central location to restaurants and shopping, while also enjoying the layout of the units and ease of getting out on the beach. This unit was by far our favorite, it was very modern, clean and had everything we need. As a former executive chef, I still do a lot of cooking, even on vacation, and the kitchen was better equipped than most to actually cook meals. The balcony and view were great, the building is quiet at night. Beach Getaways was easy to work with, checking in and getting a parking pass was a breeze. I saw security on-site pretty much 24/7. We are booking the same unit next year for sure.

It was a gorgeous and comfortable stay! Perfect location on the beach and in the community. Short walk to the beach in the day and we could walk to dinner and shopping in the evening. Not too crowded or noisy! The condo was filled with amenities! They provided beach gear, toiletries, laundry detergent and coffee. It was clean with great furnishing's and comfortable bedding. All you could ask for in a retreat! Best part was sitting on the balcony in the mornings watching the dolphins, spectacular view!

We were thrilled that it was exactly what we expected. We celebrated our 10 year anniversary. It was the perfect little get away! My favorite spot was on patio watching dolphins early in the morning and drinking my coffee. I also enjoyed watching the sunsets from the balcony. It is so beautiful there with the white sand and gorgeous view of the ocean. We left our door open so we could listen the the crashing waves. Having the chairs and umbrella for the beach was a bonus! We will definitely return in the near future!

This was hands down the nicest little beach condo we've ever rented. This unit checks all the boxes... great location, great beach, very nicely decorated, furniture, appliances and fixtures up to date, well equipped, clean, quiet, and lots of little extras you don't expect like a fully stocked coffee bar. Clearly Beach-Getaways has their act together, so don't hesitate to book and enjoy this great unit.

Okay, we were completely blown away the moment we stepped into this condo!! It was COMPLETELY clean. All of the furnishings, fixtures, etc. were up to date and beautiful. We were provided with everything in the kitchen and bathrooms that we needed for a comfortable stay. The price of the condo was Worth It! The communication and response time was excellent when we had a concern (needed a new tv in bedroom and we got one). Even just answering my messages about my happiness about the place was quick😃. Then there's the AMAZING view. Perfect beach location!! Easy access to the beach... and chairs and umbrella provided if needed. Whew!! If any place could be perfect this place is. We hope to be able to come back again one day. Thank you so much!!❤️

The clever instruction manual was printed and handy to reference. Can't beat the views and location! Close parking and close elevators made getting around easy!

The condo at Island Winds East I stayed at with my family was great. It was our first time staying at this condo and in Gulf Shores. We really enjoyed our stay. It was clean, comfortable & had everything we needed. I only have one complaint- the second day we were there, a Beach Getaways employee came and said she needed to change the air filter for the A/C unit and take a picture of the refrigerator. We were just leaving the condo when she came- if we hadn't been there, would she have just come in? I did not appreciate this at all & think it would have been a better idea for her to have come the previous day, before we checked in.

I booked this condo for my bachelorette trip and it was everything we needed and more. The pictures didn't do it justice on how nice it was. It was the perfect distance from the beach and the pool was very nice as well. I loved that the lobby of the condo had drink machines and an ice machine. I have never had that in a condo before and I thought it was an awesome perk to have. This was one of the best places I've stayed in Gulf Shores and I would definitely book again!

We were incredibly impressed with the condo. It has been exceptionally renovated and decorated and is very clean…a little home away from home. The views from the balcony were stunning. We did need to contact the host about bedding but they immediately responded and the issue was taken care of in one hour. When we come back to the gulf, we will definitely stay here again.
Excellent Stay - We loved the Condo!!

This was our first time in gulf shores, but we couldn't imagine a better location. The condo is close to everything you could want, even walking distance to shops, restaurants and a few attractions.
The building is well maintained with staff doing a great job of keeping up the common areas every day.
The BBQ grills were deep cleaned every morning and the pool was kept very clean. The beach was never overly crowded and there was plenty of space to setup the provided chairs and umbrella(no reason to pay for the beach service).
The room was very nicely appointed and clean upon arrival. The provided linens were great quality, beds comfortable, HVAC worked very well. All the kitchen utensils, plates, pans, etc were of top quality and new.
You can't ask for anything else when booking a vacation condo!! Can't wait for our next trip!

This condo has the best location, stocked with an abundance of every single amenity that anyone could ever need, and it is new, fresh and decorated with beautiful style.
The beds are comfortable and everything worked perfectly. I've stayed in over 10 different condos in Destin, Panama City Beach, Ft Walton and Gulf Shores and this is without a doubt the best overall rental experience I've had.
The shining star is definitely the location. We walked everywhere.

Condo was fabulous! Very clean and had everything you could ever need when away from home. The owners have literally thought of every amenity a guest would enjoy using from beach chairs to drink umbrellas and games/movies. There were so many extras! I will definitely be booking again. Loved Loved 407 Island Wind we had stayed last year in 401 and Loved it !!! It wasn’t available this time when we came but 407 was excellent also so we’ll stocked with everything and so clean!!! We will be back next year and will be so Happy with either property!! The decor is wonderfully and I’m stealing the ideas when I buy a beach house! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone!!! Walk to the HangOut! | Stunning Beachfront Condo | My Beach Getaways Reservation ID #38873 This is a beautifully twisted condo! My family of 5 stayed here for 6 days and had an incredible time. The owner had literally thought of everything. The furnishings are beautiful, down to every small detail. And there was never a utensil or dish we needed that we didn't find available. They left great information about how to use all the appliances and navigate the area. I would highly recommend this place!

Beautifully remodeled condo with nearly all of the bells and whistles one could want when spending nine days away from home. The beds were comfortable, there were extras of everything in case you forgot something (from disposable razors to coffee) and the view was top notch. This condo is highly recommended! Thanks for letting us stay. We enjoyed our nine days.

The condo was so spotless and beautifully appointed to make the experience so delightful. The kitchen was well equipped to allow for serious meal prep and we both felt so uplifted by the general ambience of the surroundings. Waking up each morning to have coffee on the balcony and the view of the ocean was so soothing, and brought to mind the peacefulness of nature. These two Hoosiers will return in 2022, same time, same place !!
