In this guide, we will explain about the different reservation types and how to use them in your Owner Portal.

 

Guide to reservation types and how to enter them

When entering reservations in the system, it’s important to select the correct reservation type and provide all required information to ensure accuracy in reporting and management. Below is a guide to the different reservation types and other mandatory fields.

Reservation types

 

Owner block

Use when: The owner is staying at the property.

Note: This reservation type should be used exclusively for the owner’s personal stays.

 

Non-paying guest of owner

Use when: The owner is hosting a guest and paying their own taxes.

The owner has delegated tax payment to White Rose Villas but no taxes need to be submitted.

Purpose: Ensures that no tax is submitted for the stay.

 

PGO-OWNSELF

Use when: The guest is paying for the reservation and taxes must be submitted by White Rose Villas.

 

Owner Maintenance

Use when: The home is blocked for maintenance or repair work.

Purpose: Prevents the property from being booked during maintenance periods.

 

Mandatory check-in and check-out times

To save a reservation in the system, a check-in time and check-out time must be entered. Without this information, the system will display an error message and the reservation cannot be saved.

Standard times:

  • Check-In: 4:00 PM
  • Check-Out: 10:00 AM

This has been made a mandatory field to ensure accuracy and avoid any confusion regarding early check-ins or late check-outs. Previously, in Ciirus, owners did not always inform the team of these adjustments, which led to logistical challenges.

If a guest requires an early check-in or late check-out, please contact our team in advance so we can accommodate and manage this effectively.

Additional tips

Double-check the type selected to avoid discrepancies in tax submissions or reporting.

Ensure all mandatory fields (such as dates, check-in/out times, and reservation type) are filled out to prevent system errors.
